November Round-Up
November Round-Up

4 December 2025

Welcome to Phillips Law’s Latest Monthly Round-Up.

This is our second edition, and we are pleased to share the key moments that shaped November at Phillips Law.

We have supported our community through St Michael’s Hospice’s Make a Will Month and hosted a charity quiz night at Elai in aid of The Pink Place.

November 10- 14 marked Resolution’s Good Divorce Week. This is important to us as, our Family team follows Resolution’s Code of Practice, placing constructive and child-focused approaches at the heart of everything we do.

Another highlight was reaching 500 Trustpilot reviews. With an average rating of 4.9 stars, we are grateful to every client who has shared their experience; your feedback helps us grow and strengthens the service we provide.

November also brought important legal developments, particularly in probate costs and corporate compliance. If you are administering an estate, running a business, or seeking guidance on family matters, our team is here to help you understand these changes and make confident, informed decisions.

On 27 November, our directors Hayley Eachus, Jack Gardener, Max Hope and David Robinson took part in the Frozember Ice Challenge. They stepped into an outdoor ice bath to raise funds for The Pink Place.

The Pink Place offers counselling, therapies and peer support. Every donation helps them continue this essential work. If you would like to support the challenge, you can visit our fundraising page.

Quiz Night Success: £1,750 Raised for The Pink Place

People at the quiz sat eating, chatting and having fun.

On 12 November, we held our charity quiz night at Elai. Businesses from across the community joined us for an evening of friendly competition in support of The Pink Place.

Team Finli from Thames Valley took the top spot. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised over £1,750 for The Pink Place. We would like to thank all who attended, the team at Elai for their wonderful hospitality, and everyone who helped make the evening such a success.

Make a Will Month: Supporting St Michael’s Hospice

5 members of our Wills, Trusts and Probate Team

We were pleased to support St Michael’s Hospice once again through their Make a Will Campaign. Throughout November, clients were able to make or update their Will in return for a donation to the hospice.

For straightforward Wills, we waived our usual fee. All donations went directly to support the hospice’s vital care. With your help, Phillips Law has now raised over £42,000 for this remarkable charity.
