Since opening our doors in 1986, our focus has remained clear: to provide dependable, straightforward legal advice enabling businesses and families in Hampshire to make confident decisions and save them from future chaos.

Today, Phillips Law is recognised as a Legal 500 Leading Law Firm, delivering city-level expertise with a local and personal approach across Hampshire and nationally.  From our roots in Basingstoke, we have grown alongside the community we serve, supporting clients through life’s most important moments and guiding businesses through growth, opportunity and change.

Over the past four decades, we have expanded both our team and our specialist capabilities and in April 2026 Davies, Blunden and Evans became part of Phillips Law.

Davies, Blunden and Evans have over 110 years’ experience serving clients in Farnborough and Yateley. While the name on the door will change, the commitment to local clients remains steadfast. Phillips Law has confirmed that the existing DBE offices in Farnborough and Yateley will remain operational, and clients will continue to be served by the familiar faces and experts they have trusted for years.

Brain Chase Coles Solicitors was established in 1995, merging with Phillips on 1 February 2020. The merger was an important step towards our goal of building the region’s strongest dynamic, full-service law firm, whilst maintaining the traditional values that both firms were built on. In 2021, Phillips acquired Henley’s Solicitors. In 2022, we became Phillips Law.
