NEWS: 3 senior lawyers promoted to Partner

26 April 2023

Phillips Law has just announced that 3 of its senior lawyers have been promoted to Partner with effect from 1 May 2023.

Emma Elkington (commercial property team), Jacqueline Kendal (employment team) and Clare Strachan (commercial property team) have all been promoted to Partner.

Speaking on the promotions, Phillips Law joint managing partner Max Hope said: “We are fortunate that our continued growth, our success and our culture, all interlinked, are being driven by what our clients come to us for, the high calibre of our lawyers. Our three new Partners reflect the deep pool of talent within the firm. Congratulations to Emma, Jacqueline, and Clare; I want to thank them for their dedication and commitment to our firm and our core value of delivering the exceptional for our clients.”

Emma Elkington said: “I am extremely proud of what we have achieved at Phillips Law and the outstanding work undertaken by the commercial property team, and I am excited to be playing my part in the firm’s next stage of growth. More and more we are outperforming our London and West End competitors and our two promotions within commercial property will only better serve that trajectory.”

Jacqueline Kendal said: “I am delighted to have been promoted to Partner at Phillips Law. I’m looking forward to continuing to grow the employment team and building on our success story so far. The uptick in the quality and variety of instructions for businesses and individuals continues a-pace as our firm grows.”

Clare Strachan said: “Thank you to all my supportive colleagues and clients who help drive our business. I am especially looking forward to continuing my work in developing the practice and spreading the word across the region that this is the full-service law firm to come to for all your commercial and personal legal needs.”
