We are welcoming a Paralegal into our Wills, Trusts & Probate team. This role is vital to supporting the team’s caseload and maintaining exceptional client care, contributing directly to the success and reputation of the firm.

The Wills, Trusts & Probate team

Our team provides expert, sensitive and client-focused advice on a broad range of private client matters including wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, probate, and estate administration. We are known for building long-term client relationships, often supporting multiple generations of families. We pride ourselves on a collaborative and respectful working culture, where every team member contributes to a high-quality client experience.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting fee earners with a varied caseload of private client matters, including Wills, LPAs, probate applications and estate administration
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence under supervision
  • Managing your own caseload of lower-risk matters with appropriate supervision
  • Undertaking legal research and keeping up to date with developments in private client law
  • Ensuring compliance with file management and billing procedures
  • Maintaining excellent client service standards through professional and empathetic communication

To be successful in applying for this position, you must have / be:

  • A minimum of 2+ years’ experience as a Paralegal in a Wills, Trusts and Probate team
  • Strong technical knowledge of private client procedures and documentation
  • Experience in handling simple estate administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on client care
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to prioritise competing deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
  • IT proficient, especially in MS Office and case management systems
