Job Description:
We are looking to welcome a Legal Secretary into our B2C teams, supporting our Residential Conveyancing, Wills, Trusts & Probate, Employment and Family departments. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of the teams by providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support.

What you’ll be doing
- Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners across the Residential Conveyancing, WTP, Employment and Family teams
- Typing and formatting legal documents, correspondence and forms (audio and copy typing)
- Managing diaries, booking appointments, and coordinating meetings
- Handling incoming calls, emails and enquiries in a professional and empathetic manner
- Liaising with clients, courts and third parties
- Maintaining accurate client files both electronically and in hard copy
- Assisting with billing, file opening and closing, and compliance-related tasks
- Supporting the wider team to ensure matters progress efficiently and deadlines are met
To be successful for this position, you must have / be:
- Proven experience working as a Legal Secretary within two departments, ideally Residential Conveyancing
- Fast and accurate typing skills, including experience with audio typing
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Flexible, dependable and committed to delivering a high-quality service
