Virtual Appointments and Technology: The modern solution for busy professionals
Virtual Appointments and Technology: The modern solution for busy professionals

We live in a fast-paced world where we are often busy working and looking for quick and convenient ways to “get things done.” Attending appointments about your divorce in person or printing documents to sign can take up a valuable amount of our spare time, so at Phillips Law, we offer various solutions which are efficient and flexible, including virtual legal appointments UK.

Your Appointment

We are able to offer different types of appointments to suit your needs.

  • Online video appointments via Teams or Zoom: These can be a great way to obtain your legal advice without the need to come into the office. This might be the best option for you if you live or work some distance from our office.
  • Telephone calls: We are available by telephone to discuss your case.
  • Face-to-face meetings: This remains a very popular way to speak to your solicitor and is preferred by many people. We have comfortable meeting rooms with wifi access for our clients.

Documents

Whilst there are still a few occasions where you will be asked for a ‘wet signature’ on an original document, technology now offers other options.

For example, the courts and Land Registry now accept more electronically signed documents. This means that you will not need to print and return documents or come into our office; we can offer solutions such as Adobe Sign or DocuSign.

Anti-money laundering requirements mean that we have to check your ID very carefully, but we do so using app-based technology so that you can complete the checks from the comfort and convenience of your own home.

If you are asked to complete a financial disclosure form within your divorce, we can collaborate on a single document to make this information-gathering and form-filling task as straightforward as possible.

Your Legal Matter

The legal sector has moved many processes online, and this transition is continuing. For example, the courts have introduced online portals through which applications are submitted and progress tracked. We stay up to date with these developments to make sure that we can take advantage of these opportunities for you, whether you are seeking remote divorce services UK or virtual law consultations for professionals.

At Phillips Law we want to make life for you as convenient as possible. Please get in contact with our Family team today and we will work with you to set up an appointment that works for you.
