Final Ballot Opens 21 July 2026
The second and final ballot for the India Young Professionals Scheme opens on 21 July 2026 and closes on 23 July 2026.
The scheme offers young Indian nationals the opportunity to live, work and study in the UK for up to two years. A total of 3,000 places are available in 2026, with the remaining places being released through this final ballot.
What Happens If You’re Successful?
If your ballot entry is selected, you will have 90 days to submit your visa application.
Being selected does not automatically guarantee a visa. Applicants must still satisfy the eligibility requirements and provide the necessary supporting documentation as part of the application process.
Check You’re Eligible Before You Apply
Before entering the ballot, it is worth confirming that you meet the visa requirements. Taking advice early can help avoid delays and reduce the risk of your application being refused.
