4 June 2025

We are incredibly proud to announce that Sian Lias, legal director and co-head of the Wills, Trusts and Probate team at Phillips Law, has been shortlisted for Lawyer of the Year at the 2025 Private Client Modern Law Awards.

This prestigious nomination is a testament to Sian’s outstanding work in the field of private client law. Her dedication to providing expert and compassionate legal services has created a lasting impression on both her clients and her colleagues.

Sian’s shortlisting is a significant achievement in itself and reflects the high standards she sets in her practice. She is not only a brilliant solicitor; she is a true asset to our firm. We are absolutely thrilled to see her hard work acknowledged on a national level.

Furthermore, she consistently receives outstanding feedback from clients — such as this recent review from Vic:

“Throughout the process, Sian and her colleagues explained processes and options in a clear and sympathetic manner.”

Both this shortlisting and her clients’ testimonies prove Sian’s ability to relate to clients with empathy and understanding. The main priority of any lawyer should be supporting their clients throughout complex legal processes. Sian clearly has her priorities right. Her approachable nature, combined with her professional expertise, fosters trust, making all the difference in the experiences of those she represents.

The awards ceremony will take place in Liverpool on the 2nd of July. It promises to be a fantastic evening celebrating the best and brightest in the legal profession.

Please join us in congratulating Sian on this remarkable achievement. We are wishing her the very best of luck on the night!

Stay tuned for updates following the ceremony!
