£15,056 Raised for the Pink Place
£15,056 Raised for the Pink Place

22 January 2026

Today we came together at Phillips Law to celebrate a partnership that has meant a great deal to our team.

Throughout 2025, we have been proud to support The Pink Place as our Charity of the Year. This afternoon, we marked the end of that chapter with a celebration lunch at the office and the presentation of a rather eye-catching cheque representing a total of £15,056.93 raised.

The lunch was a chance to pause and reflect. Sandwiches, sweet treats, prosecco, nosecco and orange juice were shared, alongside conversation, gratitude and plenty of smiles. Jack Gardener and Christine Griffiths gave a warming speech summarising our year of fundraising. Most importantly, it was an opportunity to welcome the team from The Pink Place and thank them in person for the work they do every day.

A year of fundraising with real impact

The Pink Place provides vital wellbeing support to women affected by cancer, offering care, understanding and practical help at a time when it is needed most. Over the past year, our team has rallied together through events, challenges and community activity to raise funds in support of that mission.

Reaching £15,056.93 is something we are genuinely proud of. It reflects the generosity, creativity and commitment of our people, as well as the support of clients and contacts who have backed our efforts along the way.

Theresa Coutts, Associate and Chair of the Phillips Law Charity Committee, shared:

“Working alongside The Pink Place as our Charity of the Year 2025 meant a great deal to us. The support they provide to women and families in our community is invaluable, and we are pleased to have played a small part in that work.”

Christine Griffiths, Fundraising and Events Manager at The Pink Place, added:

“Wow. What an unforgettable year. As Phillips Law’s 2025 Charity Partner, we are truly overwhelmed by the commitment, passion and generosity shown by their fundraising committee and the entire Phillips Law team. Their tireless efforts and wholehearted support across such a wide range of fundraising initiatives have resulted in an extraordinary total raised of £15,056.93.

Thank you seem very small words, but this incredible sum will have a lasting impact on the lives of the 269 inspirational women affected by cancer whom The Pink Place is proud to support.”

Looking ahead

While today marked a farewell to The Pink Place as our Charity of the Year, the impact of this partnership will continue. The funds raised will help ensure their support remains available to those who need it most.

As a firm, we also look ahead with ambition. In honour of our 40th anniversary, we want to raise the bar again and raise £40,000 for our Charity of the Year Victoria’s Promise.

To everyone who took part, donated, organised events or simply showed support, thank you. Days like today remind us of the power of community and what can be achieved when people come together with purpose.

Kay Alsop and Trish Coutts hold the check while Jack Gardener and Christine Griffiths cheer tehm on.
