PHILLIPS SOLICITORS INCLUDED IN THE LEGAL 500 FOR THE NINTH YEAR

12 October 2019

For the ninth consecutive year, Phillips Solicitors has been recommended in the latest edition of The Legal 500.

The inclusion in the prestigious guide, which assesses lawyers across the country, confirms that Phillips is one of the best law firms in Hampshire.

The Legal 500 uses research, interviews with law firms and testimonials from clients to compile the list.

Law firms are recommended by The Legal 500 on merit alone.

Based at its Town Gate offices in London Street, Basingstoke, Phillips was particularly recommended for its Family Law and Wills and Probate teams.

The highly respected and influential guide said the Family Law team is “easy to instruct and that results were achieved through a common sense and efficient approach.”

It also noted that senior director Howard Gardener, who heads the Family Law team as being “vastly experienced in family law – his advice is always sound.”

The Wills and Probate team was described as “friendly and professional, attracting both regional and national mandates.”

Caroline Wallis who heads the team was said to be “experienced in preparing complex Wills and assisting with Inheritance Tax Planning,” while solicitor Sian Lias, who was recognised as a “Rising Star” was described as “professional, compassionate and incredibly patient.”

Delighted with the news, Howard said: “This recognition backs up our message that Phillips is a leading Hampshire law firm.

“It is very satisfying to see the quality of our work continued to be recognised not just by the guide, but more importantly by the clients The Legal 500 approach for feedback.”

“This success is down to a team effort by everyone in the firm and we will continue to work hard to provide the very best service to our clients.”

The news follows on from Phillips Solicitors being awarded The Law Society’s quality mark for excellence in legal practice management and client care.

Awarded in July, Lexcel practice management standard is only awarded to law firms who provide the highest level of client care and business management standards.

Established 33 years ago Phillips Solicitors specialises in a wide range of legal matters concerning Residential Conveyancing, Wills and Probate, Family Law, Employment Law, Litigation, Commercial Property along with Corporate and Commercial Law.
