PHILLIPS RECOGNISED FOR THE EIGHTH YEAR IN THE LEGAL 500

1 November 2018

For the eighth consecutive year, Phillips Solicitors is recognised for its expertise in The Legal 500.

Our inclusion in the guide of top UK law firms confirms yet again that Phillips is one of the best firms of solicitors in Hampshire.

Based at its Town Gate offices in London Street, Basingstoke, Phillips is particularly recommended for its Family Law and Wills and Probate teams, with four of the firm’s solicitors being given a special mention.

Senior Director, Howard Gardener, who heads the Family Law team and is an accredited Mediator, is described as “first class, prompt, confident and totally effective.”

The directory goes on to say: “He heads a team that handles the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious Family Law issues for local and overseas clients, ranging from nuptial and co-habitation agreements to financial remedy matters and children cases.”

Solicitor and Director Hayley Eachus was also mentioned for her work as a key member of the team.

The Wills and Probate team, led by Caroline Wallis, with Sian Lias, was described as “knowledgeable and practical, providing an excellent level of service,” and “very informative at every step.”

Caroline was noted as being “a smart, experienced solicitor who is very easy to work with,” and Sian as listed being “enthusiastic and knowledgeable.”

Delighted with the news, Howard said: “The Legal 500 is rather like a Michelin Guide and is the definitive guide to the best law firms and lawyers in the country.”

“We are the only Basingstoke-headquartered firm listed, showing that we are the market leaders in the area.”

“The Legal 500 team researched our expertise and practices, placing huge significance on client opinion. At a time of growth and recruitment for our future, this is a glowing endorsement of the work we do and is fantastic for all our staff.”
