Good luck to everyone taking part in this Sunday’s Destination Basingstoke Phillips Half Marathon and 10K Run.
Thank you very much to all those who have signed-up to run with Team Phillips.
As usual it promises to be a fantastic event with a challenging route that is well supported by plenty of spectators.
Both the half marathon and 10K runs will start at the same time and finish at the War Memorial Park.
Team Phillips runners will be able to pick up their Phillips T-Shirts and race number at our tent from 9am on the day.
The races start at 11am, but before that there will be a fun warm-up session at around 10.40am. Runners should aim to assemble in the start area at around 10.45am.
Before all of this, we’d love a team photo, so please be ready for this at 10.15am, wearing your Team Phillips T-shirt outside of the hospitality tent.
We are using the event to raise funds and awareness for the Pelican Cancer Foundation, which does a fantastic job in helping to fight below the belt cancers. We’d be delighted if our runners could raise sponsorship or make a donation of say £50 to help support a very worthy cause.
We have set up a fundraising page with Virgin Money Giving which can be found here:

We’re looking forward to seeing you all on the day – enjoy the run!
Please call us or email and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
