Town Gate Mediation, which is a part of Phillips Solicitors, is once again supporting Family Mediation Week, which this year runs from January 21 to January 25.
It is being organised by the Family Mediators Association (FMA) to raise awareness of mediation and its benefits for separating families.
The aim is to encourage separating couples to think about family mediation as a way of helping them take control, make decisions together and build a positive future for their family.
Often mediation can help to secure a far better outcome for couples and children – it tends to be quicker, less costly and less combative than resolving issues through court.
