Brave Solicitor Sian Lias, who has been holding her nerves for the past month, is set to abseil down the Emirates Spinnaker Tower, this Sunday to raise money for the Ark Cancer Centre Charity.
A member of the Wills and Probate team at Phillips, Sian was due to abseil 100 meters down the Portsmouth landmark on April 7 with a bunch of daredevils, organised by Beaufort Financial.
However, due to the windy weather, this was rescheduled to May 13.
Sian and the Beaufort team are doing this all for a good cause as the
Ark Cancer Centre Charity is raising £5million towards a cancer treatment centre that will be built in Basingstoke by Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The aim of the charity is to ensure the provision of a range of complementary and support therapies in one inspirational building that will offer a therapeutic, healing environment.
If you would like to support Sian and the rest of the Beaufort daredevils, please make a donation by visiting po.st/BeaufortFundraising
