We understand that one of the greatest concerns for businesses today is the potential cost of defending employee claims. With employment law changes on the horizon, these concerns are only increasing.
While many companies offer legal expenses insurance, our clients often report frustration with these products. They are typically tied to panel solicitors, receive poor service, and lack a dedicated solicitor to manage their case. Coverage is often limited, with costs only covered once a claim reaches the employment tribunal, leaving businesses to handle pre-issue negotiations without professional advice.
At Phillips Law, we are proud to introduce our Employment Law Protection Scheme – a market-leading, comprehensive legal expenses insurance package designed to give you peace of mind.
What sets our product apart?
Immediate protection: The policy is triggered as soon as a matter is referred to ACAS Conciliation.
Your solicitor, your choice: Unlike many schemes, you are not restricted to panel solicitors. You will have direct access to a dedicated Phillips Law solicitor assigned to your matter.
Comprehensive coverage: Legal fees, tribunal costs, settlements, and awards are all covered, ensuring you are not burdened with unrecoverable expenses—even if the claim against you is baseless.
Tailored policies: Each policy is bespoke, reflecting your business size and employee numbers. Premiums can also be paid in instalments.
Indicative Premiums
Each policy is bespoke, and Phillips Law does not receive commission or referral fees – keeping costs to a minimum.
We have set out some example premium levels to give you an indication on likely costs.
We believe this scheme offers businesses the certainty and protection they need in today’s challenging employment landscape.
