Another great day at the Phillips Law Basingstoke Half Marathon!
Another great day at the Phillips Law Basingstoke Half Marathon!

8 October 2025

Sunday 5th October was a day to remember for Team Phillips. We fielded our biggest team yet at the Phillips Law Basingstoke Half Marathon, 10k, 5k and kids’ races, and what a day it turned out to be.

The October sunshine made a very welcome appearance, and the atmosphere around the course was brilliant. With over 100 runners in the team we had long-time runners back for another year, plenty of first-timers taking on the challenge, and even the next generation getting involved in the kids’ one mile race. It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces, along with some new ones joining the team for the first time.

Phillips Law branding was hard to miss on the day – our banners were everywhere, our logo was  all over the race t-shirts, and we got a mention on the loudspeaker every few minutes (much to everyone’s delight!). The community really came together, and it felt like the whole town was out supporting.

Beyond the running and the sunshine, the day was about something much more important. This year’s event was a fundraiser for our charity of the year, the Pink Place, and we’re delighted to say it was a huge success. Not only did runners donate their race fee, but we raised over £500 alone at the Phillips Law bar in our hospitality tent.

A massive thank you to Destination Basingstoke for organising yet another brilliant event, and to every single runner and volunteer who made the day so special. Whether you were pounding the pavements or cheering from the sidelines, you were all part of something pretty great.

Here’s to next year!
