Making a Will
Whether single, cohabiting, married or a parent, Wills are a key element in estate planning and, without a Will, you are unable to control what happens to your assets after death.
We help you to make the correct provisions in your Will and ensure that your wishes are carried out.
Lasting Powers of Attorney
We all know that we should write a Will, but too few of us know we should also consider something called Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Estate Administration
This service involves dealing with your affairs after death – the estate being your property and assets.
Our probate specialists handle the winding up of your estate with sensitivity and understanding and help your family and friends through what can be a very confusing and upsetting time.
Where there is no Will in place, the assets will be divided following the rules of intestacy. To find out about the rules and what happens if you don’t write a Will – please visit our flowchart here.
Before We Meet
Clients often ask what they should bring to their first meeting. We want to reassure you that the most important thing is to bring yourselves and not to worry.
However, we do require to see some documents to prove your identity.
Our Fees
Where possible we will offer a fixed fee, so you will know what the costs are from the start. For more complex or uncertain projects, we will provide you with an estimate of the likely fees involved and keep you updated throughout the matter.
