Contact us today by telephone on 01256 460830 or by email at [email protected] to discuss your specific requirements.  We are likely to offer you our initial fixed fee consultation.  During this first meeting, we will ask you for background information, explain your options and advise you about the different ways to deal with your queries.  We will also be able to set out more detailed costs and time information before confirming our advice in writing afterwards for your reference.  The cost of this meeting is £300 plus VAT and we can meet with you face to face or virtually if you prefer.

The cost for our fixed fee divorce application service starts at £495 plus VAT.

Grounds of Divorce

‘No fault divorce’ came into effect in England and Wales in April 2022. This means couples are now able to get divorced without one person needing to give a reason.

Talk to a Divorce Solicitor about starting divorce proceedings. Generally, there is no need to wait to start divorce proceedings as our specialist Family Law Solicitors can make sure your divorce proceedings are dealt with as amicably and as quickly as possible.

Divorce Court Proceedings

Divorcing couples do not need to go to Court to get their divorce. Your divorce solicitor will assist you to do this.

A Divorce Solicitor may recommend that you defer applying for your Final Order until you have reached a financial settlement with your spouse and have secured a Financial Court Order.

If you have questions about starting divorce proceedings talk to our divorce solicitors who are highly experienced and can deal with the matter sensitively.

Family Law Help

If you are getting divorced you may need specialist Family Law help with:

  • Parenting arrangements.
  • Child maintenance.
  • Temporary financial support with payment of bills whilst you sort out what should happen to the family home.
  • Advice on whether the family home should be sold or transferred to you or your husband or wife.
  • Spousal maintenance – whether you should receive it or pay it and, if so, how long for.
  • Financial settlement, including agreeing what should happen to the Family Home, savings, investments, debt, pensions and business assets.
  • Securing a Child Arrangement Order or Financial Court Order.

We can help you resolve all the Family Law implications of your divorce. We are committed to helping you reach an agreement through Solicitor negotiations or Mediation and will only recommend Court proceedings if you unable to reach an agreement.
