Matt is a Corporate and Commercial Paralegal. He supports the team on a wide range of transactional matters, including M&A, commercial contracts, and corporate governance.
Before joining Phillips Law, Matt worked as a Private Wealth Paralegal at a top 100 UK law firm, where he assisted high-net-worth individuals and families with estate planning, trusts, and tax matters. This role enhanced his technical legal skills and gave him valuable insight into the intersection of personal and commercial legal affairs.
Matt has passed SQE1 and is currently progressing toward qualification as a solicitor. Matt completed his law degree at the University of Dundee. During his studies, he served as President of the Boxing Society.
Matt is committed to developing a long-term career in corporate law. Matt also volunteered with organisations supporting mental health and social inclusion, which reflects his belief in the wider social value of legal practice.
