
Deglan worked initially as a Trainee Solicitor in general practice in Guildford. Not long after qualification he joined Davies Blunden and Evans and in 1998 he became Senior Partner of the firm. With the incorporation of DB&E into Phillips Law in April 2026 is now a Practising Consultant bringing to Phillips extensive experience in a wide range of legal areas, but for the last ten years or so he has focused, with a loyal following, on residential and commercial property matters
In December 2008 Deglan completed his training as a Notary Public having passed the Cambridge University Post Graduate Diploma in Notary Practice. He is one of about 800 Notaries in England and Wales and provides specialist support for private and corporate clients invariably for documents required abroad.
In the past he used to lecture law to legal executives and GCSE Law. Deglan enjoys being involved in community activities.
