Tom Gilbey at the Winchester Books Festival
Tom Gilbey at the Winchester Books Festival

20 April 2026

Phillips Law was delighted to sponsor Tom Gilbey at this year’s Winchester Books Festival.

Taking place last Saturday, the event brought together over 450 people, creating a lively, engaging atmosphere. The best part was that he may have been even more charming in person; just as seen online, he doesn’t hold back.

Tom’s session was both entertaining and insightful, telling stories from his book about the amazing people during his career, including supplying wine to heavy metal band Iron Maiden!

Book Giveaway Winners

We hosted a book signing of his book Thirsty (see the image below of him signing one).

Congratulations to our three winners of a signed book: Mark Jones, Maxine Hart and Richard Downham. We hope you enjoy your copies.

Supporting events like the Winchester Books Festival reflects our ongoing commitment to the local community. It was a pleasure to be part of such a well-organised and well-attended day.

We would like to thank the organisers and everyone involved for making the event such a success.
