Oak Lodge Care Home opened its doors to the community on Saturday.
It was part of National Care Home Day and was aimed at bringing members of the community together, while at the same time celebrating the Queen’s birthday.
Among the visitors was Sian Lias from the Wills and Probate team at Phillips Solicitors, along with Marketing Manager Richard Garfield, who popped by for a chat and a bite to eat.
Richard said: “We were very impressed with what we saw and enjoyed our time meeting some of the residents and their families.”
“We’d like to say thank you to the Oak Lodge’s Manager Grace Adan, her staff and the residents for making us feel so welcome.”
During the day the residents and guests enjoyed the day which included a delicious buffet lunch fit for a queen, live music and a quiz.
The care home, which is in Oakley, just outside Basingstoke, is rated as Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Located on Oakley Hall’s 315 acre estate, it is surrounded by peaceful and beautiful countryside.
