MEET VERITY LEES
MEET VERITY LEES

10 November 2017

Verity Lees has recently joined Phillips Solicitors’ Residential Property team as an experienced Licensed Conveyancer.

Her training and wealth of experience means that she deals with all aspects of conveyancing, from sales and purchases, dealing with new builds to shared ownership properties, transfer of equity and re-mortgages.

Originally hailing from Devon, Verity studied Law at the University of Sheffield. She later worked as a paralegal before qualifying with the Council of Licensed Conveyancers in 2012, when she earned the accolade of student of the year.

While property law can be complicated Verity enjoys being able to make the process of buying and selling property as smooth as possible for her clients.

Based at the firm’s Town Gate offices in London Street, in Basingstoke’s Top of The Town, Verity said: “I’m delighted to work for Phillips Solicitors. The firm has always had a very good reputation in the area and when a firm has The Legal 500 accreditation it gives it more of a cutting edge.”

Phillips was recently recognised as a leading law firm in The Legal 500 for the seventh year running. The independent guide is regarded as offering the definitive judgement of law firm capabilities.

Phillips Director and Head of the Residential Property team, Zoë Baxter, said: “Verity has settled in very well within our busy team. Her attention to detail, high standards and professional manner providing excellent and efficient service to our clients shows that she is a great asset to the firm.”
