JONATHAN IS OFF TO COLOGNE
JONATHAN IS OFF TO COLOGNE

11 July 2019

Our very own Superman, Phillips Director, Jonathan Pender is heading off to Cologne in Germany on Wednesday July 17.

He is a member of the 30 strong Ark Riders team who over five days will cycle from Basingstoke to Cologne to raise much needed funds for the Ark Cancer Centre Charity that is to be built in the grounds of Basingstoke hospital.

Among the stops they will make on their epic Ark Riders Twin Towns Tour (TTT) will be two of Basingstoke’s twin towns, Braine-l’Alleud in Belgium and Euskirchen in Germany.

The Ark Cancer Centre Charity is raising £5m to help fund a much-needed NHS cancer treatment centre that will largely be funded by Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. So far, the charity has raised more than £2m.

The centre will integrate conventional and supportive cancer care for people in and around the Basingstoke area.

If you would like to sponsor Jonathan, please visit his JustGiving page which can be found at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/jonathan-pender

Information about the Ark Cancer Centre Charity can be found at www.arkcancercharity.org.uk/ while details about the Ark Riders Twin Towns Tour is available here: www.arkriders.co.uk/ride19/

Good luck to Jonathan and all of the Ark Riders and thank you to all those who make a donation for this very worthy cause.
