6 January 2026
We are proud to announce Victoria’s Promise as Phillips Law’s Charity of the Year for 2026.
Victoria’s Promise is a local charity providing dedicated support to young women aged 25 to 50 who are living with cancer, as well as to their families. Their work is compassionate, practical, and deeply personal. It aligns closely with our values as a firm and with our commitment to supporting our local community.
We are honoured to support Victoria’s Promise over the coming year.
Why Victoria’s Promise?
We choose them as our charity of the year because they are a small charity that does such vital work in our local community. Based in Hook, they work closely with women across the local area. They begin support quickly, shaping it around each woman’s emotional, physical, and practical needs.
The Difference Your Support Can Make
On average, it costs around £1,166 per year to support one woman and her family. Support may be needed for several years, particularly where a diagnosis is terminal or non-curable.
This means that every pound raised makes a real and measurable difference. As a firm, our goal is simple. We want to raise as much as possible to help Victoria’s Promise continue supporting women and families when they need it most.
Words from Our Community
Jack Gardener, Partner at Phillips Law, who nominated Victoria’s Promise, shared:
Supporting Victoria’s Promise means a great deal to me. It is a charity built on the determination to help others through the hardest moments. Being able to support women and families in our community through this partnership is genuinely important to all of us at Phillips Law.
Fiona Eastman of Victoria’s Promise added:
Victoria’s Promise is delighted to be the chosen charity for Phillips Law in 2026. Having met the Partners, and many of their colleagues, I can feel their incredible energy and high sense of commitment and community. This is so aligned to our Victoria’s Promise team
We feel very privileged to be their chosen charity in their special 40th anniversary year.
Looking Ahead to 2026
We are excited to begin this partnership and to share the year ahead with Victoria’s Promise. Throughout 2026, we will be fundraising and raising awareness.
We believe strongly in supporting organisations that work with compassion, integrity, and heart. Victoria’s Promise does exactly that.
