We understand all the complexities involved in litigation, including the costs and risks associated, which is why it is important to have the right team representing you.

All matters are unique, which is why we adopt a pragmatic approach to all disputes, delivering a bespoke solution tailored to your specific aims and objectives.

Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution

Our team of civil litigation and dispute resolution Solicitors will be able to assist with court proceedings and deal with any disclosure and drafting witness statements.

Civil law allows individuals the right to claim compensation or seek a specific action in a range of matters including breach of contract, defamation and negligence.

We can also advise and assist on a variety of matters including:

  • Company disputes including director and shareholder disputes
  • Construction disputes
  • Contractual disputes
  • Debt Recovery
  • Defamation of character
  • Disputes over money
  • Land, boundary or property disputes
  • Landlord, tenant or housing disputes
  • Neighbour disputes
  • Professional negligence – poor work carried out by builders, surveyors or other professionals
  • Unfair dismissal or employment disputes
  • Wills, trust or probate disputes

Neighbour Disputes

When disagreements occur with your neighbour it is understandable you will want them ended quickly before a dispute escalates.

Although it is recommended that you try and talk to your neighbour first so that you can resolve the dispute amicably, there may be no other alternative left than going to court. However, a Judge may not look favourably upon a party who has refused to negotiate or has simply filed court papers before trying to find other ways of resolving the issues.

Our team of Solicitors have experience dealing with a wide range of matters involving neighbour disputes including boundary disputes.

Debt Recovery

We understand that for those seeking to recover funds owed to them, you will want to recover the debt as quickly as possible and in the most cost-effective way.

Sometimes a letter from a solicitor is enough to encourage somebody to pay back a debt, however, sometimes it may require more formal court proceedings, depending on the amount of debt owed.

Our team will work with you throughout the stages of debt recovery until you receive the best outcome possible.

Wills, Trusts or Probate Disputes

If you believe that you have been unfairly left out of a Will, we can talk you through your options.

We know that each matter and every set of circumstances is unique, which is why we tailor a plan to the individual needs and requirements of our clients.

We always aim to promote an early settlement wherever possible. However, if a resolution cannot be found we can engage in pro-active litigation, efficiently and as cost-effectively as possible to ensure the best chance of a successful outcome for our clients.

Our Fees

Where possible we will offer a fixed fee, so you will know what the costs are from the start. For more complex or uncertain projects, we will provide you with an estimate of the likely fees involved and keep you updated throughout the matter.
