Sarah joined Phillips Law in January 2023 and was promoted to associate in October 2023, Sarah has a wealth of experience in contentious and non-contentious employment work.

Sarah has a background in Management Accounts and completed a Law Degree with the Open University and graduated with First Class Honours. Sarah then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course as part of the Master of Laws at the University of Law and graduated with Distinction. Sarah qualified in July 2020 after completing an employment law focussed training contract alongside seats in family law and private client.

Sarah has specialised in employment law since qualification. Areas of specialism include advising on and drafting settlement agreements including negotiating exits for directors, management and senior staff.  Sarah has Employment Tribunal experience acting for both claimants and respondents including drafting pleadings. Sarah works alongside the corporate department to advise on TUPE in corporate transactions and employee management incentive (EMI) schemes. Sarah advises employers on restructures and redundancy processes. Sarah regularly drafts director service agreements, employment contracts, consultancy agreements and policies.

Sarah prides herself on taking a pragmatic approach to advising both employers and employees.
