PLENTY OF CHRISTMAS CHEER AT PHILLIPS
PLENTY OF CHRISTMAS CHEER AT PHILLIPS

18 December 2017

Generous colleagues at Phillips raised £426 for the Ark Cancer Centre Charity.

The whole firm got into the spirit of Christmas, especially when it came to our Christmas Hamper Raffle. Each of our departments clubbed together to produce some rather imaginative hampers, with themes such as The Great British Bake-Off, The Vodka Hamper and Cocktails.

These were raffled-off raising £346.

This was given an £80 boost by colleagues paying to wear their Christmas jumpers, as the raffle happen to take place on Christmas Jumper Day.

All of the money will go to the Ark Cancer Centre Charity, which is our charity of the year. It is on a mission to raise £5million towards a trailblazing cancer treatment centre that will be built in the Basingstoke area.

The money will ensure a range of support services and complementary therapies are available alongside chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments in a calm and uplifting environment.

In October we were the headline sponsor for the Phillips Basingstoke Half Marathon. We used the event to help promote the profile of the Ark Cancer Centre Charity and fundraise for this very worthy cause.

We did this by setting up a fundraising page through The Good Exchange. Every donation to this page, which is still open, will be match funded by Greenham Common Trust, including any gift aid donation. Please feel free to make a donation to our fundraising page.

Have a very happy Christmas and a prosperous 2018.
