GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE TAKING PART IN THE PHILLIPS BASINGSTOKE HALF MARATHON AND 10K RUN

1 October 2021

Good luck to everyone taking part in Sunday’s Phillips Basingstoke Half Marathon and 10K Run.

This year promises to be extra special as it is the postponed tenth anniversary of the Basingstoke Half Marathon.

Both the Half Marathon and 10K Run start and finish at War Memorial Park, in the centre of Basingstoke.

The Half Marathon, which commences at 11am, is a challenging course, passing through some beautiful countryside and the delightful villages of Cliddesden, Farleigh Wallop and Ellisfield.

The 10K Run, will start a little later at 11.20am with runners going through Cliddesden and heading towards Farleigh Wallop, before returning back to Basingstoke.

As the event’s headline sponsors, we are delighted to be fielding a team of more than 50 runners with Team Phillips, raising funds for our charity of the year Sebastian’s Action Trust.

It’s a fantastic charity providing emotional, social and practical care to families whose children are life-limited or life-threatened.

It also offers respite holidays to families from all over the UK at The Bluebells – the trust’s unique facility in North Waltham, just outside of Basingstoke.
