We are currently looking to recruit a Legal Secretary for our Wills, Trusts and Probate Department to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join and assist in our highly regarded department.  The Department is an award-winning department having won Solicitor Firm of the Year: South at the British Wills and Probate Awards in 2023.

The successful candidate will be working as member of a vibrant and growing wills, trusts and probate team, working alongside the senior leadership team and other solicitors. The work is varied and covers a broad range of wills, trusts, LPAs and probate matters. 

In your role, you will: – 

Assist senior solicitors with the day-to-day management of their files, which may include: – 

  • typing correspondence and documents – audio typing experience desirable
  • file opening, giving quotes and sending out quote letters
  • arranging and diarising client appointments
  • scanning, photocopying and filing documents as required
  • assisting with client telephone queries 
  • managing email correspondence
  • assisting with general compliance and file administration tasks. 

The ideal candidate will have legal secretarial experience gained in a Private Client Department.  Our key requirement of a successful candidate is that you are a willing and eager individual who is highly organised with the ability to learn new systems.
