We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Business Partner to join our team. This is a critical businesses role with a focus on first-class internal procedures.
The HR Business Partner will be responsible to the Managing Director but operating at Individual, Operational, and Organisational levels of Phillips Law, supporting employees, building upon processes, and managing change. The role holder will also develop clear strategies with our Human Resource supplier and external partners.

What you’ll be doing:
Motivating employees
From your colleague’s first day to their last day, the role will involve supporting them while they integrate with the team and keeping them engaged with our purpose, missions, and values. Listening to, investigating, and responding to employee feedback will be fundamental.
Facilitating employee wellbeing

Creating consistency
Not only does consistency promote fairness and equality, but consistency also allows us to analyse and develop all our processes. You will be creating consistency through your delivery of conduct, capability, and complaint processes.
Resource provision
Ensuring that there is a clear resource strategy that is linked to our work forecasts and strategy for growth. Working with both our Human Resource partners, people and MD to develop clear strategies for identifying the right people at the right time whether Solicitors, Legal Support Staff or specialist business roles.
Developing team members
You will be the orchestrator of our talent management strategy. You will be facilitating review processes and implementing programs based on the needs of individuals. In addition to this, you will be supporting us to identify which talented individuals we want to join our team.
To be successful for the position of HR Business Partner, you must have / be:
- Level 3 or 5 CIPD Accreditation
- Multiple years of experience with managing talent
- A diverse experience with employee relation case management
- A model of leadership for others within the organisation
- A fantastic communicator who is capable of holding difficult conversations when necessary
- Approachable and someone that people can be open and honest with
- A can-do attitude and able to cultivates a positive organisational culture
The base compensation per annum is contingent upon proven experience.
